Program Philosophy
Healthy Fitness Gateway Program Clinic- This program is designed to develop a personalized workout plan based on your ability and goals. The classes teach how to use a non-fatigue interval program to improve resting pulse rate, blood pressure, strength, flexibility, endurance. Healthy Fitness Gateway Program Clinic is for clients that perform less than fifteen pushups to increase their exercise capacity. Instructions on how to use box breathing, yoga, dynamic stretching, an interval timer, calisthenics, a jump rope, and dumbbells will be given safely and effectively. Exercises will be taught during the classes to do at home to increase fitness on your own in between classes. The clinic meets once a week for six weeks. Because exercise has been proven to be beneficial to most medical conditions (i.e. cancer, Diabetes, other illness), this program can be modified with low impact exercises to accommodate people of all fitness levels and goals. Topics that increase wellness, well-being and longevity will be taught to help form healthy behaviors.
Healthy Fitness Gateway Program Bootcamp – Basic calisthenics in an interval format are used to increase strength and exercise capacity while lowering physiological measures of stress (resting pulse rate and blood pressure). This program uses short intervals to increase the exercise capacity.
Advanced Athletic Enhancement Program – High intensity interval training can be used to increase rate of movement and endurance for athletic enhancement. Once a functional capacity is reached, the exercise program will work at optimizing metabolic systems that shape the expression of strength and power. Emphasis is put on developing power. Workouts goals shift from daily response to damage to long term adaptation.
